About Claire & Bonzo

Hi, I’m Claire - the founder of Bonzo Marketing, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and a strategist with over 24 years of experience helping people and businesses communicate with clarity and confidence.

I’ve spent my career working across a wide range of sectors in senior brand & marketing positions, supporting organisations of every size, from early-stage founders to large, established teams. Some of the industries I have worked in include financial & professional services, construction, fashion, health & wellbeing, equestrian, not-for-profit, creative industries and international markets.

My work has always centred on helping people make sense of their marketing, connect with their audience and bring structure to their ideas. Over the years, I’ve mentored marketers, business owners and teams both formally and informally, helping them find direction, refine their message and build the skills to grow with confidence. That experience shaped the heart of Bonzo: a place for thoughtful, grounded guidance that cuts through the noise and makes room for clarity.

Bonzo was created during a period of change - personally and professionally. As I prepared to launch a new business with my partner in 2025, I took a step back to look at my own consultancy with fresh eyes. What I wanted was a calmer, more intentional space. Something that reflected not just the work I do, but the way I do it. 

The name Bonzo is a small but meaningful nod to my grandpa, who gave me that nickname when I was young. Bringing that name into this new chapter felt like a way of grounding my work in something honest, human and deeply personal.

Today, Bonzo brings together mentoring, consulting and (soon) Bonzo Studio - all designed to help people and businesses find clarity, confidence and calm in how they communicate. Whether we work together for a single clarity session or over a longer period, my focus is always the same: to help you feel organised, supported and capable of moving forward with intention.
